New no GMAIL push notification?

Hi-

Thank you for all the work on the rom

Since 9.3.28 and until current 9.5.9, I'm not getting my gmail notifications on my phone. Sometimes I they come through several hours later or not at all.

anyone else have this problem with the Mi Mix 3?

don't think this is problem with gmail, because when I have the browser open at work, emails come in right away as they are received.

ps. one more request; will the weeklys be able to maintain Google Pay safetynet check? Each time I flash a new rom, I have do the whole erase gms folder, erase app data (for google framework & google pay) thing. My banks are getting suspicious of why i keep adding my credit cards multiple times. And also each time I erase the gms folder I have to erase and re-setup my android watch.

I had to turn off 'Smart Scenes' -

Settings > Battery & Performance > Scenes > Sleep Mode

This fixed gmail sync for me on 9SE

I'm having the same Gmail notifications issue but setting this to off seems not to solve to problem.
I thing the only way is to set Gmail to autostart.

Activate autostart Gmail and configure high priority Gmail, open Gmail settings, select your direction and select notification ALL
