I Updated my mi 11 ultra to hyperOs Stable and now I cannot sync my photos in Mi Cloud as usual.

It's a big problem for me cause I paid a premium storage in Mi Cloud to sync all my xiaomi's phones and tabs.

Only google photos is allowed to sync photos now, but I don't like and I don't want to pay another storage in google.

How can I fix? Only downgrading to miui 14?

Thanks for your help

Some question, hopefully someone can provide any guide to maybe revert to previous gallery or have a way to download all from the cloud in one click..?

I am facing the same problem. I paid for Xiaomi cloud storage, and gallery data is the biggest part. (30GB)
My Xiaomi12 upgraded to Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.7.0.ULCEUXM, and now the gallery informed me that it no longer contains the Xiaomi cloud sync.
Before I opened the gallery, the MiCloud sync in the settings appeared to have synchronized the gallery, but apparently did not. Now, after having opened the gallery, the Xiaomi CLoud settings show that sync for gallery is off. I can select sync with Google Photos or Microsoft OneDrive.

I want to have Xiaomi Cloud sync back.

(Something went wrong when I tried to reply to my quoted message. You find it in a separate post.)

I found a file
xiaomi-gallery-3-7-1-1.apk
which I could install successfully. Synchronization of new photos to the Xiaomi Cloud worked well with this version.
After installing this APK, I noticed that the name of the app is displayed in English, not in German, and in the app I see a mixture of German and English. This minor issue is not important for me.
It might be related to the China version vs. global version of the Gallery.
Maybe the Mi Cloud support was removed from the global version?

The same issue here. I HATE Google's policies of sticking their nose into everything. They have basically blocked us, i.e. took away our choice to go with Xiaomi and not with Google Driver. J€rks!

THANK YOU for the solution! I had just extended my membership with Xiaomi and didn't realize that Google wanted to have my money and had blocked me from using the Xiaomi cloud, as I have been using it until now. I can CONFIRM that the solution works! Now I can see 2 backup options (And this is how it must be, Google!): Xiaomi and Google cloud options.

Hi guys, I have the same request.
I would use Xiaomi Cloud... I come frome Xiaomi 12 (xiaomi.eu) and Gallery appe permit me to backup photo on Mi Cloud... now, with my new Xiaomi 14 (xiaomi.eu) I cant use it.
I can verify that che Gallery app name in xiaomi.eu version on Xiaomi 14 is "*-global"... I try to install apk but the phone tell me "Can't install system applicazion from unofficial channels".
What I have to do?
Thanks in advance.

Eu encontrei um arquivo
galeria-xiaomi-3-7-1-1.apk
Hello friend, how did you install this APK? can send me? I tried to install from ApkMirror, but it doesn't install, it gives me a certificate error. can you help me?
