No SD card detected on MI3

Hi, I don't know if i'm doing right, posting this new thread. This is my second message on the forum. I've a new MI3 with international rom installed (italian language) v4.3.7. Today i wanted to move some apps to sd card using the link2sd app, but i've received a message "app2sd is not supported by your device due it has an external primary memory that is emulated by one internal" (my translation from italian, of course). I don't know where to find how many memory card i have, which is internal and wich external, how to move apps, and so on. What's the meaning of sdcard 0 and sdcard 1? Someone could help me? Thanks in advance.

Why you want to move apps? Mi3 memory is unified, so you get all memory you got for apps and music, and so on.

If you have say 64GB model then you have near 60GB for apps and all user data.

Thank you for the answer @Acid. This is the second time you solved a doubt/problem i got because i'm a new user of MI3. So partition will be useful only if I install different os on the phone, is right? In the first days of may I will go to Warszawa for holiday, so will be a pleasure for me to offer a "piwo" to you. Thanks again.

Thanks for invitation but im far away from Warszawa. But good to know.
I'm not sure what you mean by partition on MI3 or what do you want to achieve.
You can't partition your phone. Just use MI3 as usual and don't worry about memory.

Well, it's a little bit difficult to say. I have also an Oppo Find 5 with 32gb and on that phone i move apps to sdcard to save memory for the system. I think I have to do the same with Mi3. So no problem, all with mi3 is quite simpler. All the software, apps and music and so on will go saved to the only 64gb partition. Just one question: the 2gb ram are always full for about 1-1.2 GB. Is it normal? Dzenkuje

I think you don't have to do that also on your Oppo. Find5 should have enough memory for apps as MI3.
Have you ever had insufficient memory for apps? If not then why bother?
Just don't bother about memory in MI3. You won't run out of memory ever.
As for RAM: yes. You should have about 800 MB free RAM. This is normal.

sense is use app2sd only on low-end devices like Hongmi where is just 800MB space for apps...

The reason newer operating systems use the whole ram, rather than only small chunks is because ram is a whole lot faster than other flash or harddrive space.

By keeping, let's say, your favorite apps in ram you can open them way faster.

Yes, you're right. Most people, and I'm one of them, don't think that RAM is quicker and having full RAM is not a problem in most cases. Thanks for your reply.
