New No shutter sound on Mi 9T

Can I just ask as to why whenever I take pictures on the camera app, there's no shutter sound? My phone isn't on silent mode, I already enabled the shutter sound option on the settings of the camera app and I even went to the additional settings page of the sound & vibration and there's no shutter sound toggle there, so I assumed that only on the camera app settings page is where the option of it enabling but I still don't hear a shutter sound. I thought that this was just sort of a bug but I can't really think of it that now because I already updated my phone a couple of time already but the no shutter sound isn't fixing on the updates I'm receiving. Please help me with this. What should I do to fix it?

Try dial pad sounds, probably.... And put system volume at 100

Hi.. I've alreadt enabled the dial pads sounds and other options on additional settings and they're all working as expected. I'm only having a problem on the shutter sound on the default camera app.

Is the boot sound always there? If not, the camera sound issue is temporary too. Does it play in other camera apps like *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum*?

I can't confirm other camera app if they can have a shutter sound here on my phone because I only use the native app. As for the boot sound, it works just fine, I just have to enable its toggle on the settings.. But I just disabled it to save some battery when booting up.. Do you know any workaround for the issue I'm having? Before I switched to EU rom, I'm on global rom and this wasn't my problem before.

Clear camera cache and data, then reboot into teamwin and wipe dalvik/cache. Reboot and tell us

I did what you told me and the shutter sound seems to work again but the moment I customize the camera app like changing the shutter sound, color and the feature set, the shutter sound is muted again right after that. I don't know why that happening.

Customize cam as u wish, then turn off re-enable the sound. If not working, operate only with cache clearing, don't clear data (and clear dalvik)

Clearing caches and on twrp (cache/dalvik) does nothing.. Shutter sound still on mute, I think the only way of making it enabled again is to clear the data of the camera app and don't change the customizations there. I really hope that EU rom fix this bug because I loved hearing shutter sounds.
