Notification Bar Search

Hi all,
Despite all my system is translated, the search bar on the notification bar has characters in chinese.

Anyone knows if is there any way to change it? Even with an external app.

which search bar? did you try to use another launcher from the playstore.

I just did that, but it didnt work. As you can see, some default text inside the bar is always there (I suppose its something like "write here"). When I push over that text, I get this:

I have the same problem using MIUI 6.5.12. (7.4) on Mi 4C. Has anyone found a way to solve it?

And are you sure you don't want to search for "Baby Justin Bieber"?

I'm using a Spanish unofficial rom.
It could be translation related. After flashing my xiaomi using 6.5.12 version, cleaning search cache sets searchbar watermark to Spanish. However, the box with "popular" searches keeps showing chinese terms. I suppose those are obtained using some chinese search engine. It would be nice if that box could be hidden somehow.
