Oneplus style ambient display

I was wondering is there any chance to add oneplus style notification? I mean not to light up the whole screen when a notification received when the screen is off, but only light up just the part of the display like oneplus. Devices with amoled display should be able to handle it.

Do you know they do have an option to light up the sides off the screen

Yes I do know, but I would like to see something like on my old oneplus 5. When I move the phone or get a text just a part of the display lights up with the clock and the notification and not the whole display.

It can be very useful in a dark room if I don't want to wake up someone in the middle of the night.
