OTG is not working

Anyone having issue with OTG? I am plugging OTG pendrive (which works flawlessly on SGS3 with MIUI v5) and nothing happens. I have downloaded OTG Troubleshooter and it detects OTG Host, Detects OTG event when device is being plugged and does not detect device under Linux nor Android. Is this a bug or the feature has to be somehow enabled first?

same cable of sgs3? If the reply is yes change otc cable because it isn't compatible with xiaomi mi4

Same for me, Ive entered into Engineering Mode/Hardware Test Mode (*#*#64663#*#*) .

Selected OTG test. #26 got an error message. "This test is not available in your MIUI version". On stable MIUI V5 KXDCNBF24.0

Tried Developer 8.22 MIUI V5 and the latest Dev version MIUI V6 still problematic.

Do I need to go for a one-to-one RMA?

First check with different device. I have changed pendrive and the other one works like a charm.

Ive checked with Redmi Note WCDMA. Mi-3. non Xiaomi phones ( Zopo ZP810. SGS3) all detecting fine with different USB sticks and cables. FYI engineering mode for xiaomi Note. OTG (Detect) and OTG (Remove) test turns out OK.

Hope I didnt get a lemon unit. T_T
