I am writing to you regarding my wife’s Xiaomi 12 (Cupid model), which was recently updated to the latest version 1.0.9.0. Since the update to version 1.0.7.0, the device has been experiencing significant performance issues. It has become very slow, the system UI occasionally freezes, and the overall user experience is severely impacted.
Given that this is my wife’s phone, the situation is particularly critical. She has only a few apps installed, and the storage is only 40% full.
I would like to request your assistance in finding a solution to this problem without having to completely reset the device or purchase a new one.
In the past, I used to clear the cache and Dalvik cache via TWRP after updates. Is this still a recommended practice today? Are there any risks I should be aware of?
