Phone doesn't boot after update to miui 12

Hi,

Today I tried to flash the new beta Chinese miui 12 rom on my Redmi 6 pro. I flashed it through my orangefox recovery. But when my phone restarted after completion, it shuts off as soon as the redmi logo comes. I am unable to boot my phone. I can't go past the Redmi logo, it closes the phone right after the logo appears.

I can't go into recovery mode either, but I am able to go into fastboot.

I tried to flash to a previous miui 11 rom but the problem is the MiFlash tool gives me an error saying " failed, device is locked"

I think my device is locked now after this update. I tried to unlock but I am unable to unlock the device without going into the phone's settings to add the miui account.

Can someone please help me figure out what steps I can take to solve this. It was a foolish mistake by me to rush to update something I am not familiar with.

Any help will be appreciated.

I think you should flash stock rom through edl mode.

Acho que meu dispositivo está bloqueado agora após esta atualização. Tentei desbloquear, mas não consigo desbloquear o dispositivo sem entrar nas configurações do telefone para adicionar a conta miui.

Alguém pode me ajudar a descobrir quais etapas posso tomar para resolver isso. Foi um erro tolo da minha parte correr para atualizar algo com o qual não estou familiarizado.
