Hello there. I have a redmi note 3 snapdragon which is running MIUI Global 8.2 | stabel 8.2.4.0.
A while back I broke my screen and I replaced it myself. Now when I want to turn my phone on from the off state it goes into a bootloop. I have found out that when I disconnect the fingerprint scanner it does boot, so I believe this is the problem. Miui obviously does not loads the fingerprint stuff as when I plug the fingerprint scanner in after it has booted the fingerprint scanner simply does not work.
Has xiaomi got some kind of safety system in place like apple got some flack about a while ago? Or is my MIUI broken and should I try to reflash my phone? Quite interested what the reason for this is!
