Hello!
How do I install the latest Magisk?

I have installed the latest MIUI 12 WEEKLY 20.11.12,
I have downloaded the latest Magisk from GitHub, found here:

Unfortunately even if I flash it with no error messages in TWRP,
On Android, in Magisk Manager, Magisk Root or Magisk is not installed.
It somehow gets deleted or not flashed.

Also, how do I boot on Recovery?
I tried pressing Volume Up + Power and I cannot boot,

so I booted using the TWRP China version found on the ROM page,
with :
fastboot boot .\twrp.img

Thanks a lot!

Hello!

You have installed WEEKLY 20.11.12 from a previous weekly ROM version or not?
If yes, did you install Magisk before?
If yes, did you hide Magisk Manager (option in Magisk Manager settings)?

If the answer is still yes, then you have to open your "hidded" Magisk Manager app. ;)

If the answer is no, then you can try to install Magisk v21.0 by following this how-to => https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/magisk-in-mi-note-10.58047/post-568116

The answers were no to all.
I installed Xiaomi EU straight from official european version.

Anyway I have root now.
Here's what I did:
1) I installed the latest Magisk Canary Edition
2) I extracted the latest Xiaomi EU zip file
3) Copied boot.img into my phone
4) I opened Magisk Manager > Magisk > Select and Patch File and patched boot.img
5) Copied patched img file to my computer
6) Flashed the patched file with fastboot flash boot patched.img
7) Opened Magisk Manager and I could direct install Magisk now.
