Hello Xiaomi community! I hope everyone reading has a nice day.
I have a small project of repurposing an F6 motherboard as a 5G modem, due to price at which I can get one, very capable modem SDX75, and carrier prioritization phones get. I will use an RTL8157 based usb ethernet adapter (RTL8157 Support added in Linux Kernel 6.11, A15 is Kernel 6.6, so I'll have to manually patch, use a different kernel, use a rom like YAAP, which is A16 kernel 6.12 or rely on a different chip solution altogether such as RTL8156, avaliable from Kernel 5.16 onwards).
Which of the antenna pads are responsible for 5G, LTE, wifi? Which frequency does each cover? I'll purchase suitable antennas (If I don't already have them) and solder suitable pigtails in place of the pads. I have a heat gun, and have done such work before.
