POCO X3 Empty (blank) home screen

Hello

I have just received my POCO X3 NFC (UK model) and after the initial setup my home screen is completely empty with no icons at all.

I have tried every suggestion I found online (Reboot, Clear cache and data for Poco launcher, factory reset, wipe data from stock recovery) with no success.

My phone runs the latest MIUI Global Stable 12.0.7.0 (QJGEUXM).

Any ideas?

The thing is that although it seems like a software bug either in the Poco launcher (most probably) or in the miui, it seems that only a few are affected.
And that concerns me as I can't see any solution and not much talk about it.

What i do is i remove all sim card then factory restore.
