Prevent playstore libraries from updating and see what's using Wifi in realtime?

Hi Forumers,

I have 2 questions:
1) How can I prevent play store and services from updating itself permanently?Every update breaks safety net every time and freezing causes issues with downloading some apps.
2) I can see Wifi data jumping to few Mb/s and I suspect Google's ecosystem based on experience. How can I see which app is using Wifi in real time?

playstore - settings - network preferences - auto update apps -> dont auto updates apps

Thanks for the reply. This setting prevents apps from autoupdating.

I am looking for a way to prevent Google Playstore itself from updating and breaking safetynet.
