Problem using external SD

Hello all

I bought a HongMi before a week and an SD 8gb
My phone "finds" the card but can't save anything on it...
For example the Camera saves in internal 800mb so its already full :-S
How can i change my SD card so all applications can use it...so i can save the apps on card and camera saves there too and not in system "space"?

Im not good with these stuff so if you could help me step by step i would appreciate it

Under settings/storage, do you see the SD card visible (showing how much available) ?
Otherwise format SD card to FAT32. If you use the latest stable V13 (or V5) version camera saves automatically to SD.

Hello and thx for response i can see it on settings - storage and the internal around 800mb and my sd 8gb...and an other about 3gb...ill check the format to fat32 and i will wright if thrre will be any change

V13 is the newest ROM for the Hongmi. V5 is the previous one. Maybe you have already this. You can find this under settings/about phone/miui version.

That is a very old one you have.

If you want the multi language version you can go here http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/4-3-28.23911/.
If you want to do this you first have to install new recovery TWRP. See here http://en.miui.com/thread-13092-1-1.html (first part.

What you can also try is to update from your phone itself. I believe it is under about phone. You will see a button System update below on the screen.

Oh great! Thanks i'll try it...but how can i find my model? At "about phone" i only see HM 1W as Phone Model....which one of these is mine?

I believe under the battery the model is mentioned. Also on the package it should be there.

It writes WCDMA under the battery! So i download this version or maybe its the HK or the TAIWAN...? I think TAIWAN is not the model...or maybe it is? I took it from greece and its was on greek ready

I think it is the "old"one Redmi-WCDMA.

Taiwan is sold in Taiwan and HK in HK. These are relatively new. Your version MIUI-3.11.29 is made 2013-11-29. As far as I know the others were not there at that momen.
