Problems with some apps trying to go full screen.

I'm currently using a Mi3 and I'm loving it but I'm a issue when using the Dark Horse and Comixology apps. When these apps try to go full screen it seems as if the notification bar pushes it back. Sorry if I'm not explaining this well but it makes it difficult to use these apps. Anyone know of a way to fix this? I will include a image to help display my issue.

Hi I have that same problem when i try to access comixology on my redmi. Did you manage to solve the problem?
