Proxy in MIUI

Quick question about the proxy in latest MIUI (1.9.9).

In my work place, i connect to the proxy however it only lets me use the browser. I was under the impression that the apps would work as well, similar to Autoproxy

Is the proxy going to be worked on at all?

I'm assuming youve tried it then? Do apps work for you or just browser?

Well iv got kind of the opposite. Twitter and Whatsapp work, everything else (including the browser) doesnt. I use wifi at my unviersity and have entered all the required settings but no luck. It always used to work on stock firmware before i flashed MIUI.

What type of proxy does your uni use? I'm just on an http proxy with no authentication.

Have you tried autoproxy from my op?

What do you mean it works with your stock firmware? Android doesn't have built in proxy :S
