Question about upadating through Updater App

Hi,

Im very sorry if this is off topic or i posted this on wrong forums.

so here are the question i am using EU rom now for 24 hours
and then an update came 21.4.28 for my Mi 10T
I downloaded the update and then it asks me to go into recovery

do i have to manually install the update like how i install the EU rom for the first time?
and will it wipe my files and all and start a new one?

Please help.

Hello,

When confirming the reboot to recovery (from the Updater app "pop-up"), your device should automatically reboot to your custom recovery and flash the ROM.

Of course, you will not lose your data.
