Hi xiaomi.eu community!
First and foremost I would like to thank the xiaomi.eu devs for this wonderful ROM, this is the most stable, smooth, feature rich and debloated ROM that I have ever used on my Poco F8 Pro. But I notice there is one feature that I probably used a lot on stock china rom but is absent or changed in the xiaomi.eu ROM, and since I searched for this topic in the search function and looks like nobody is talking about it. So I would like to open this thread and ask some questions
This is from a stock china rom with unlocked bootloader. The share automatically toggle does let me connect to my china rom tablet Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro with a WiFi Direct protocol which in my case my phone would be cool and less battery consuming than a standard hotspot protocol. The tablet would show a 4G connectivity directly as if I put the sim card in the tablet.
Meanwhile this is from xiaomi.eu rom which only has the automatic hotspot enabler from my phone.
My questions are is this by design? Is there any barrier that the devs could not bypass that needs to be compensated with a similar feature? Because as far as I am reading the forum, the xiaomi.eu worked best paired with other Xiaomi china devices. Even Home Screen+ feature only worked on Xiaomi china rom because previously my tablet is on global rom and the error region mismatch appeared. So it is safe to assume that xiaomi.eu would perfectly synchronized with other stock china rom devices.
