Questions regarding Miui v6! Help is appreciated

Hi there people, I've updated my Mi3 to miui v6, I have some questions regarding this miui version.
1. Why can't I see app notifications in the notification bar even though I allowed it in app settings.
2. How do I access apps settings?? Lets say I want to merge duplicated contacts... Where the options gone to?

1. MIUI 6 introduces notifications on lockscreen (hit numer icon to show notifications). For now app notifications on status bar are disabled.
2. Easy. Long press Menu button in the app you want to show settings, or... go to Settings (from desktop) > System apps.
