Hi guys, recently I received the notification to update my Redmi 13C (model 23106RN0DA, running 1.0.5.0.UGPMIXM) to the new HyperOS 2.0.2.0.VGPMIXM version (the phone is brand new). After dowloading, extracting, and rebooting (using the official installer in the phone) it reboots to the recovery menu complaining about the "NV data is corrupted". It reboots three times before quiting to update and reports a fail to update. I have also downloaded the official ROM and tried it manually (using the phone installer), but with the same result.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

I have exactly the same problem. I don't know what to do. Should I wait till Xiaomi fixes this?

Did you update your recovery beforehand? You may need to install the A15 version of TWRP first. I didn't have any problems with upgrading from HyperOS 1.0 to 2.0, but I have a Xiaomi13.

No, my recovery is the standard one. The phone is (still) as factory.

I am using version 13C recently updated to 1.0.5.0.UGPMIXM

The system found an update. I just ran the update to 2.0.2.0VGPMIXM and no way to do it successfully.

The installation is written in Chinese instead of my language (FR) or English.
It is not acceptable to have this situation for an update.
You need to solve this problem quickly.

Additionally, at the bottom of the screen there is: NV data is corrupted.
