I proceeded with the Redmi Turbo 3 (Chinese version), but unfortunately, I faced difficulties unlocking the bootloader using the Xiaomi community app. It turned out to be a waste of time. However, I opted for a paid service and successfully unlocked it yesterday for $20, which was a reasonable solution.

Not surprising, Xiaomi have officially stated it won't work. But it's possible to do yourself for free with the resources mentioned in this thread. $20 is quite reasonable though.

I have tried the free ways and it was time consuming for me, I spent over a week trying and never worked for me. I reached out to few paid services but they were all expensive until someone referred me to that guy who does it for $20. I can not post his contact details on the forum as it is not allowed. latest update is that the php bypass does not work anymore. almost bought the RT3, sadly require EU ROM for a complete google experience.

meanwhile RN12T working perfectly fine as daily driver.
