Redmi Note 2 Prime Exchange Problems With Smiui

Hi all,

yesterday i made a clean fresh install of the current SMIUI-version for my Redmi Note 2. Before i was on MIUI V7 and took all Updates up to now including V8.

After the fresh install i was missing the exchange function inside gmail. I installed an exchange service. Now gmail shows the exchange option but every attempt to get access to my company mail account isn't successful. Before doing the clean install it was no problem with gmail. Just the implemented mail-app wasn't working with exchange.

It looks like gmail doesn't try to access the exchange server but gives directly the failure that the connection isn't possible. Password / domain / user / server are correct.

Does anybody have an idea what i can do to solve this problem ... ?

I found a solution for my problem.

1) I switched back to MIUI V7 (6.4.21)
2) I connected to the exchange account (it's working)
3) I made the update to MIUI V8 (latest version)

By this way i was able to get the working exchange connection from V7 inside the V8 of MIUI.
