Hello,
I have an up to date Xiaomi 13T Pro and I’m facing serious problems with international roaming inside the EU.
I live in Belgium and when I travel abroad (e.g. Germany, Netherlands), I can make calls and send SMS without issues, but I cannot use mobile data at all. Internet doesn’t work, even though:
- Roaming is enabled in the SIM settings,
- Data roaming is set to “Always on”
- APN settings are correct,
- I tried manually selecting other available networks, resetting the network settings all together, restarting the phone several times, selecting LTE, 4G, 3G etc - none of this fixed the issue !!!
This seems to be a known problem. I saw other users mentioning it online, even with newer models.
What the hell, Xiaomi???? You are clearly aware this issue have been reported since several years and yet there’s no fix, no solution, no official acknowledgement!! How can you sell premium phones in Europe and leave customers stuck without data every time they cross a border???!
I am reaaally frustrated and if no fix is provided I will never be buying any other xiaomi products in my life again!
