Yes unfortunately Mokee has some other faults too.
I don't use it since long time but I remember some MI features couldn't be used (MI cloud for example).
Also the interface is ugly! (this may sound stupid but using mokee after miui seems like you are using a phone from 10 years ago)

About the last MIUI and sMIUI the battery doesnt last very long but i can't find exactly where the problem lies.

What you mean, mi2? Because i was talking about mi4. Mi2 there's no other rom than miui, mi4 no and mokee is best alternative rom for this phone.
Mi service i never liked and never used,then interface is very nice. Is lollipop stock, plus you can find beutiful themes. Surely miui is little more personalizzata as ui but it very nice indeed the mokee with theme you like.
Is very smooth and battery is hufe improvements.
What i don't like at all about miui is notification always delayed (probably with MM was ok as i tried but usually there was always this problem) and notification expanded for ex whatsapp. i don't really understand why there are not these features...

Anyone have a problem with proximity sensor on outgoing calls
When i call someone the screen does not goes black but when someone calls me it does.
Which is very strange for me.
I tried the sensor with phone tester app and it is working fine.
Could someone help me?

It works fine for me, just tested it.
You may try to turn off and on pocket dials. Maybe something will change. Weird thing. You can also (if not did it yet) add a lock to Dialer app... Who knows.

I'm using mokee and going very good battery is very good. But I prefer using miui.. Buy with mm is unusable

I use cm12.1 for my mi3, IMO the best battery life of all ROMs, included the marshmallow ROMs I tested.

I dont know what Xiaomi did with the MM Build for the Mi3/Mi4 ... Battery Life is very bad and I have some strange behaviour with wifi...

Lets see if the upcoming versions fix some things. But I am very happy to replace my Mi4 with a Mi5 very soon...

Thanks for clarifying... but Browser is not necessary, correct? Means, unchecking should not install it...

You're right, should not be needed. But MIUI has this bad point that every app is linked with others. For instance deleting Analytics or Music will cause bootloop (phone will stay on MI logo forever).
But I think that's only scripting problem... Sebsch should tell us more

Every time I upgrade I don't check the browser in sMiui kitchen, but every time it's installed.
So every time I uninstall it...

No freeze, no bootloop or instability.

(I hate miui browser :/ )

When i dial *#*#6484#*#* so i go into hardware tests and i could try to calibrate the sensor nothing happens.Any suggestions here


I found the problem -it was my miclick.I try it with headphnes too - no proximity sensor again.
So if someone have a problem with proximity sensor should try it without miclick or headphones

Yes, it allows you to switch between 2G (edge) or 3G for data. 3G is more powerful than 2G but uses more battery.

I can change these settings anyways by long pressing data switch from the notifications shade and choose 4g/3g or 2g.
This option has to be something else.
And I am asking if anyboody knows.....

But it's already in rom. Look for led settings and uncheck led when charging... Works for me
