Hi Guys,

Has anybody tried sMIUI_v6_5.12.10? I would like to confirm if what I experienced was a bug or just a random occurrence.
When I made a call, the person I'm calling to could barely hear me. It's too low I ended up raising my voice above normal. No issues in the incoming though.

I'm using 5.12.10, and no such issue is present on my use. Both sides can hear and talk w/out any problems

Maybe. But the only thing I don't like about experimentals is 20-25 seconds for granting root permission. Let's wait for 4.12.12, I'm sure if the problem is in ROM it will be solved there

The MIUI6 special edition for Mi2S is just ported ROM, so it is not official development ROM. Xiaomi has promised official development release for December.

I jst installed sMiui 4.12.5 and I came from Wiui. Everything works except my wifi. It says it's turning wifi on, but keeps on that status.
Is there a fix for it or did something go wrong when installing the rom?

Please do full wipe when coming from other ROMs.

WhatsApp corrupt again. After titanium app only restore it works again.
Then after reboot, corrupt again. I can now really reproduce it.

I hope that tomorrow, after internal 04:00 back up, it will be okay again.
It did last week, so maybe this week also.

Maybe a little bit smoother I'm not sure but I'm more comfortable with this version. And font size is much bigger (when setting is in" huge" option), which I like than the 4.12.12.

That's not 5.12.12 but 5.12.10.

Uhm. I guess I always dirty flash the weekly updates then, as I don't know what a clean flash would mean?
I normally make a nandroid backup. And batch backup in titanium, miui backup too. Restart phone, disable / unstart auto apps.
And then I flash.

Should I wipe cache also then, before flashing? Didn't mention it.

And a factory reset would kill all my settings and layout, sure I can restore nandroid, but wouldn't that be a useless procedure?
Or should I then restore the miui system backups?

Ive reuploaded the ROM - Unicode should be fixed .

Cache will allways be wiped when installing sMIUI! Clean flash means you do factory reset (wipe /data) and restore your apps and settings with MIUI Backup (youll find it in Settings).

Sometimes that wont help and you should a "even more clean flash" ...
Means do Nandroid and MIUI Backup...
Save your whole sdcard content to a computer...
Flash MIUI 6 with fastboot and select the "wipe all" package...
Boot into ROM...
Get your files back on you sdcard...
Restore MIUI Backup (or nandroid if you did clean flash before)...

That should fix all your problems.
