Root after installing 9.6.27 Mi 6

Hi:
I have a xiaomi Mi 6 with the rom 9.6.27. I need to be able to change the mac address of the phone when it connects to wifi, that is something I cannot do on this phone right now so I need to root it.
What patch do I have to apply to root this rom for this phone?

Alright, flash this:

Then go to Developer options, you will see a new setting under "Networking" called "Connected MAC randomization".
Toggle it on and let me know if it operates as expected.

sorry, probably it should be under Mi6 section and with another clearer text.
the thing is that after I did not get an answer I flashed 9.7.4 to see if the option was there (because Google says it has to be on the developer option) but it is not.
Does this patch work on 9.7.4?

The "Connected MAC randomization" setting is that same setting mentioned in the Google docs. I just restored its availability.
Seems to be working fine here, once I enabled it and rebooted, WLAN MAC address has changed, and when I disabled it and rebooted, it restored to the original MAC address.

It works, so good. It totally randomizes de Mac address so bye easy way of client tracking.
