Rooting multilang ROM Hongmi?

I have searched for answers to this and tried the provided solutions to no avail. Has anyone been successful in rooting a multilang Hongmi?

I have this:

4.2.2 HM2013023
MIUI-JHBCNAH4.0

Thanks for the reply.

Those well-detailed instructions I used to install the multilang ROM. Then, vRoot worked fine. However, after that, it doesn't seem to do the job. What happens is this:

1) I launch vRoot.
2) I connect my phone to my PC (Win7).
3) My phone asks me for permissions. I check Yes on all of them.
4) Then my phone reboots itself. That's where I think it goes wrong.
5) After that, vRoot keeps saying "Waiting for device". The longest I have waited has been about 15 minutes. Although I'm just another n00b, something tells me it ain't happening.

USB debugging is on.

Am I doing something wrong?

follow this guide (it doesn't matter which stable ROM you going to use, it works on V3, V4 or V5)
