New Screen rotation mi9 doesn't work after 31.10 update

Screen doesn't rotate anymore after updating. Checked Chrome, YouTube, system itself, etc.

Same happened here, actually none of the sensors was working. It seems that the update caused a problem with persist partition. Flashing persist.img from the global rom solved the issue for me. I uploaded it in case anyone needs:

Apologies it doesn't work properly it rotates even when rotation is turned off.

Would be great if someone from xiaomi.eu could reply on it. In my opinion this is a major problem which should be fixed immediately.

I did fresh/clean fastboot install "cepheus_eea_global_images_V11.0.5.0.QFAEUXM_20191101.0000.00_10.0_eea_4a25745076.tgz". Isn't this include persist.img when doing under fastboot build? I got the same rotation sensor issue with the mentioned build also.

Flashing persist.img again fixed it for me - I also use an app to check if all sensors are working okay now after every update.
