Screen Wake Up Problem

Hello
I'm running Global rom V8.1.2.0.MBEMIDI on 4 prime.
The problem I have is that the screen is not waking up when new notification arrives although settings is to do so.
I hear the sound of the notification and see the led light, but the screen is not waking up.
Any idea?

Are you trying to wake up through the finger print scanner?
Min has similar issue. If a notification pops up on lock screen (for instance Whatsapp) and screen switches off again I cannot wake with fingerprint. I have to first press power button and then either select the message or wake phone with pin.

No. My issue is that the notification is not waking the screen at all.
I would like to see on the locked screen the notification details.
