Hi everyone! I want to ask if anyone knows, why xiaomi doesnt udate security patch level for Mi4s? Its stucked at 5/7/16.

Because Xiaomi never cares for Android versions and patch levels.
It actually makes sense, since MIUI is buggy and contains much more security vulnerabilities so Android patches dosen't even matter

I disagree a lot. Other xiaomi devices have the last security patch except mi4s-mi4c. About android versions ok, maybe your right but you need to wait for newer versions as all mid range chinese smartphones.

Just as an example, dev roms are stuck with very old patches. Take kenzo, its stuck on 1st July patch.
Kenzo stable git an update for oct 1 patch, dirrectly from August.
Redmi 2 is still stuck on March patch.
Does that makes sense?
