New Setting Image As Wallpaper Bug

I can't change the wallpaper, when i try to set an image as wallpaper, i press "Set as wallpaper", it shows up a black screen and it get immediately back to the image. I tried to set the image as wallpaper from settings, file explorer, and gallery.

I'm experiencing the same issue since a few weeks on my Mi3... It worked a couple of days after an update, but not anymore... I've been browsing official forum for similar posts, no love for now.
