New SGS2 2.5.4 Guard app doesn't work

Not sure if it's a new bug as its the first time i've used it. Anyway a added a number to the blacklist and I still receive sms of the number. Firewall is enabled, anything else I could be doing wrong?

When you added them to the blacklist, did you click on import all messages???

I didn't have any messages to import? I tested it by adding a friends number to the blacklist then told him to text me. I received the text as I would do normally, it had no effect.

Same problem on my phone Xiaomi m1 mi-one and 2.5.4
