Should i install rom?

Right now i am on Xiaomi Global Stable Rom.
I have a problem with Viber notifications. I try everything, but not work.
The only think i can try now is to install new rom.
I want to ask people who have EU rom, will Viber notifications works good?
Also, will i get other benefits? Like battery life? Performance etc?
