I have a Redmi 4X running Xiaomi.eu ROM 8.7.19. The Signal messaging application does not show any notifications when a new message arrives. What I mean is - the sceen lights up briefly, a sound is played (or vibration, when silent), but that's it - no notification pop-up on the lockscreen, no icon in the status bar, no badge on the Signal icon. I have enabled all notifications for the app, they are enabled in the application itself as well (I've even set priority to Maximum). Signal is allowed to auto-start, no battery optimizations, all the necessary permissions have been granted.
Last night I tested it again after uninstalling the app, booting to TWRP and clearing all Dalvik/Cache, installing Signal again and granting it all the permissions once again. No change.
Has anyone encountered anything like this? Do you know how (if at all) this can be resolved?
