SIM Card Activation error

I lost my SIM card. I am currently using a new SIM card. I have put new SIM number in MI account recovery. When I reboot the phone or sync message and call history, I get a message that the SIM could not be verified. So what to do, to change the new SIM number for synchronization of message and call history? My mi id is '6203763249' Help me

I don't think thats a ROM problem. I think that is a problem with your carrier. As some carriers supports this activation method and some don't. I got 2 SIMs from different carriers and one activates just fine and the other one does not.
