Sim card detected, sim contacts not detected

So i just got my Redmi Note 5 and it is working fine except it seems that sim contacts are not detected. There is no "show sim contacts" option anywhere under the Contacts app/Settings, and when i go to "View SIM card space" it says "0 total | 1006 used". When i try to save new contact it gives me only two options: local (Device-only, unsynced) and Google.
If i insert SIM card in my old Redmi Note 3, it shows all of 235 contacts i have.
Is there a solution for that, or is my RN5 faulty?

Found the problem and solution. It was the Yellow pages app and its permissions. When I restored contact permissions for Yellow pages it showed contacts normally.
