I guess that again they made some changes in the configuration of the Chinese Firewall. I experienced similar issues. One day program X doesn't work anymore, but program Y again does, although it did not do this the day before. Furthermore: Administrators of local WiFi networks in hotels, companies, shops and restaurants seem to love changing the settings. In one company they had blocked Android phone from Chinese manufacturers. Then they noticed that their German client (me) had a Mi3. The next day I was able to use unrestricted, very fast WLAN, while my Chinese colleagues still either were not able to connect at all or faced severe restrictions.
