Smart Pen 2 not working

Hello,
I bought a new Xiaomi Pad 5 and Smart Pen 2, but the pen doesn't work. The tablet recognizes the pen via Bluetooth, it gives the battery status of a pen, but when I try writing with it, it doesn't work.
Anyone with same problem managed to solve it?

I got the new pad 6s pro with the 2nd generation pen. Won't recognize it on Bluetooth or when I try to connect it to the pad. Bought 2 of them even. No one works on either of them.

pad 5 works with smart pen 1 only

I got the new pad 6s pro with the 2nd generation pen. Won't recognize it on Bluetooth or when I try to connect it to the pad. Bought 2 of them even. No one works on either of them.

you need a different pen, you need the Xiaomi Focus Pen, 2nd Generation pen works only with Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro

I have the same issue with my Mi Pad 6 and Mi Pen 2. Though, i've had this problem few months ago and it was normal since then, until today (April 16, 2025), the problem occurs again. Any solution that can fix the issue ?

I had the same problem but the problem was not with the pen but with the flipcase, specifically the magnet on the flipcase. I then bought a flip case without a magnet and from then on everything was ok. You can test the pen with your Xiaomi without the flipcase and if everything is ok then the problem is definitely with the flipcase.

Mine used flipcase since i bought it.., and it dont have magnet. It's still not working, and now the pen won't operate on the screen but the button is working, geez this made me panic hahaha. I wonder if version update has something to do with it..?
