SMS notification in non-standard sms app won't work

Hello eveybody,

I have selected a different standard SMS app.
When I receive a SMS, the ROM keeps receiving de message in the original SMS app.
Also the notification from the new SMS app doesn't show up. Only the notification from the original SMS app is showing up.

Is this a bug in the ROM ?

Open Messages and then menu. Go to advanced settings and in the system section uncheck the priority of the system app.
