New [solved] Camera2 Api On Miui 9

I tried to enable Camera2 API on MIUI 9 7.8.10 adding "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1" in build.prop but it doesn't work. In MIUI 8, instead, it worked perfectly.

Does anyone else managed to enable it? I really want to try that modded *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* app with HDR+.

I'm using a Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon.

Nevermind, I wiped and reinstalled the rom and now it works.

I wiped before installing the rom (not installing it on top of MIUI 8) and added "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1" to build.prop.

Yes *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* with HDR+ is working just fine and it takes really good pictures, the only problem is that they are a little noisy on Redmi Note 4, other devices get perfect photos.

I found my build.prop already has this line:

persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1

I can install the google cam apk and take photos, just that it cannot focus.

Sorry to bust in an old thread, but I have Redmi Note 4 SD with stable MIUI 9.0.5.0 and was trying to get the camera2 api working. The problem is that my phone is unblocked but not rooted. I saw somewhere a "cookbook" about putting TWRP recovery on unrooted Redmi Note 4, but I got pretty lost on TWRP website (in order to get the right .img for my phone). That is the problem for another thread. But, can you tell me, if i get the *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* to work (after somehow applying TWRP on my phone), after the next OTA update, will I have to again put the TWRP on the phone and again put "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1" in build.prop?
Also, does anybody know would the same work for the Redmi Note 4 MTK with Stable MIUI 9.2.2.0 (my second phone)?
On another forum I got information that *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* wouldn't work on it, but that there is another app for it.
