Solved: Mi 9 SE 11.0.1.0 Android Auto

Hi everyone,

New here to the forums!
I have my MI 9 se for a few months now and wanted to try Android Auto in my vw Polo 2015.

Can't get it to work unfortunately.
I am running Android 10: 11.0.1.0 Stable rooted with Magisk.
Not running any duplicate apps or anything.

Otherwise very happy with the phone and rom!
Any suggestions on this?
And what about Do not Disturb mode? This is not working unfortunately?

Hmmmm, I've had Android auto work on my 9se. I'm on the beta though.

Can't remember what version I was on. I often get rental vehicles for work and sometimes these have Android auto.

Do you have any special settings?
Or special app installed?
Beta is on Android 10 as well, so should be quite similar..

SOLVED:
As of Android 10, Android Auto should be working and built in within the ROM.

Unfortunately it did not work out of the box, but I got Android Auto working using the following apk:

Android Auto - Google Maps, Media & Messaging APKs - APKMirror

www.apkmirror.com

Installed and gave permissions and voila, its working flawlessly now.
