Hi all.
I got my Pro from giztop today.

Started it up and got to a screen where it says "his device was reset, to continue, sign in with a google ect"
I can not get past this screen. I think it's called FRP protection.

Is there anyway around this or do I have to send it back?
Peed off to say the least....

edit=If I hold down the vol up and start.
I can get to Mi recovery 3. But the 3 boxs are all chinese...

Does anyone know with the chinese version Mi recovery
know how I can reset the phone?

thanks

Don't do anything and ask for a return & refund...

Giztop said it was not there fault lol.

Got paypal involved now. I have added a picture of the problem

Maybe after you click on it you could set up a new email and the phone will boot.

It doesn't work like that.
If the user does not delete the gmail account from the phone and then make sure in gmail.
The next user will have problems.

Then no other way except to return it.
Also check if bootloader is unlocked and if yes you can flash twrp.

I could flash another rom.
But as it's new(I hope) I want to give giztop a chance to put things right.

I'm just trying to find out if there is a Mi global rom and could I flash it.

Yeah the best thing is to return it and get global and unlocked phone.
You should be very careful when flashing custom roms, even global one on china phone as it could brick it.
Good luck!

All sorted now.
I got in to settings and done a full reset.

Giztop did flash the global rom for me, so that's great :)

So I just looked and they flashed MIUI 11.2 by xiaomi EU 20.3.28 beta

There is no twrp installed!
