Storage Issue

Hi,

I have run out of space installing new app. Under Storage, I have total of 1.06GB for "Internal Storage", and total of 5.65GB for "Phone Storage".

It seems like installing of apps will goto "Internal Storage", and very soon I am out of storage space for new apps. I have erased and re-setup the phone; change the "preferred install location" to 'Let the system decide' or 'Phone Storage', and the problem persists.

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this?

Additionally to the question from my predecessor: How can I properly use SD card on my Note? i.e. can I install and move apps to SD card? There seems to be a problem with that.

You can't. There's no such function in MIUI.

There is a method of changing vold.fstab under system/etc folder but it is difficult and may brick your phone
The safest way is app called foldermount there is a free and paid version .... search for it and in the app go to setting put autostart on
