Storage Problem

Hello guys today my 64gb xiaomi told me there is not enough space for installing an app and it says i got used some space out of 8gb..how is this possible?is it possible to somehow install the os that lies about storage space?in the system info im settings it says 64gb/3gb

You have a corrupted data partition reflash the rom with mi flash or twrp and you will get your 64gb and the phone will be faster because of the correct partition size

no wait your phone is reading 64 gb so i think your phone is full of files you ahve to delete something to install new apps
