stuck in fastboot after updater

i got xiaomi.eu room on my mi 10 and when i used the updater to update my phone is stuck in fastboot? when i reboot it just boots into fastboot again.. what do i do?

just for clarification, the updater didn't update anything, nor did the phone boot to recovery. after the updater downloaded the room it rebooted into fastboot and it's been like this since..

managed to solve by flashing stock rom using miflash and then reflashing xiaomi.eu. lost all data tho..
