Tell me the stable version for mi 8 please!

My current version of MIUI 12.1 is 20.9.4. The update itself did not come. I decided to find a new version on the site. But no matter which version I try, everyone either gives an error or the SIM card does not work. After installing the old version, the gallery stopped opening and a lot of errors appeared. What should I do? Please help me

Try doing a clean install using Mi Flash Tool with a fastboot ROM for your device model. This will wipe all data but fix most system errors. Make sure to:

1. Unlock bootloader (if not already).
2. Download the correct fastboot ROM for your device from the official MIUI site.
3. Use Mi Flash Tool to flash it in "clean all" mode.
4. After flashing, reinsert SIM and update apps.

If SIM still doesn’t work, it might be a modem/baseband mismatch—make sure the ROM is for the correct region and device variant.
