Time format on the top status bar

I have Mi 11 Ultra with 12.6 21.6.2
The time on the status bar always says the time and then Afternoon, Evening, Midday instead of just AM and PM.
Is there anyway to change this to say AM and PM? I have a Mi 9 and it says AM and PM after the time.
The Afternoon, Evening, Midday takes up a lot of space in the status bar.

Already changed for the next release. Xiaomi sometimes makes questionable decisions...

It's always best to make stuff customizable rather than forcing someone either way. Give people the option for AM/PM or long names.

Nope.
1) It's a translation change, not code, this complicates things immensely.
2) We're not looking to make a toggle for every single insignificant thing. Toggles are added by patches, patches I would have to maintain and update. We have too many patches as it is.
