top bar battery (how to get it back) 1.11.25

I have updated my sgs2 to latest miui release (1.11.25) and now the top bar battery thing isnt working, i have it set in miui settings and also via extended settings but it doesnt show.

Am i doing something wrong or is there an error in the latest release?

Sounds like you don't have the latest version of the MIUIsettings.apk. Download it and install it (you may need to uninstall the old version first). Open the control panel and go to battery options, there is now a toggle to show or hide the battery.
