Trying to flash my Mi Mix 4, how to unlock bootloader?

[Ultim8ScrubLord]

I have read that unlocking the Xiaomi bootloader outside of China might be impossible, but I think I can get help from a relative in China by getting me a Chinese Xiaomi account.

However, I just want to know is there no other way to get past this?

Currently on Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0.4.0.UKMCNXM (Android 14).

I tried with my US SIM and I get "the place where the account is registered does not exist".
